CAPE ISLAND LAUNCHES PARTNERSHIP WITH CANCER AWARENESS INITIATIVES PINK DRIVE AND MORE BALLS THAN MOST
August 2021, Cape Town, South Africa: Luxury home fragrance brand, Cape Island has partnered with Cancer awareness NGO, PinkDrive NPC, a registered Non-Profit Organisation, and brother charity, More Balls Than Most, initiatives committed to promoting cancer awareness and providing health education and services to men and women across South Africa.
The partnership campaign aims to extend the reach of PinkDrive's message while raising funds for the organisation by donating a percentage of proceeds from the sale of selected Cape Island luxury home fragrance products.
Cape Island was founded in 2015 by Managing Directors Suzanne Snowdowne and Karin Wood and now employs a team of dynamic women. "This cause is so dear to our hearts," says Snowdowne. "Cancer has a massive impact on the lives of those affected by the disease and their families, and the most vulnerable are no exception. There are so many who do not have access to health services and discover their condition at a very late stage." The PinkDrive campaign, along with other related initiatives, collectively improve cancer prevention and control countrywide. Every cent received will directly assist to promote the awareness and early detection of, and screening for gender-related cancers in South Africa.
Online customers wanting to show their support for the cause can visit www.capeisland.co.za and shop products marked with the PinkDrive ribbon. PinkDrive and More Balls Than Most will receive ten per cent of the purchase price of selected Cape Island products, including luxury scented candles and fragrance diffusers, until 31 October 2021.
