Giving Back this Festive Season - Details on the 7 NPO's we support

Christmas is a time for giving! In fact, more people spend money on gifts for others, including friends, family and strangers, over the festive season.

Did you know that charitable giving rewards both the giver and receiver as it is said to boost mental and physical health and result in a happier life?

According to research, the act of giving of your time or money to others can:

  • Lower your blood pressure
  • Reduce stress levels
  • Lessen feelings of anxiety and depression
  • Increase your self-esteem

If you would like to make a difference this festive season, here is a list of the registered non-profit organisations that we support through the Cape Island Giving Back Initiative*, along with some activities you can get involved with.
